Deborah Lindsey

Dr. Deborah Lindsey was a Mathematics major as an undergraduate in Chicago. She received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University. Dr. Lindsey has been a Sturbridge resident for the last 20 years, and she worked in emergency medicine in West Hartford, CT for three years and in Springfield for nine years. 

Dr. Lindsey has been practicing since graduating from vet school in 2004. Before becoming a veterinarian, she worked at an exclusive feline-only practices for six years prior to working in ER. She has extensive experience working in shelters and has experience working with low-cost clinics and shelter assistance as well.

Outside of work, Dr. Lindsey enjoys hobbies including tending to tropical plants and gardening, playing piano, and playing too many video games! She also enjoys traveling to tropical destinations – Turks and Caicos is one of her favorite islands. Most of Dr. Lindsey’s family resides in Cleveland, Ohio, but she is kept company by her pets - including seven cats (six being over 14 years old!) – named Pepsi, Pixie, Maxx, Sandcat, Diablo, Foodbag, and the youngest, Sydney. She also shares ownership of a southern Dixie dog named Malakai and two new chihuahuas named Dobby and Cyrus.
