Dr. Kirsten Piotrowsk holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She earned her doctorate from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2006. Prior to joining VESH, she resided in Canaan, NY for the past 8 years and practiced at a general veterinary clinic in Old Chatham, NY. With 18 years of experience in veterinary practice, Dr. Piotrowsk has predominantly focused on emergency medicine, with additional roles in general practice and at the Animal Poison Control Center with the ASPCA. She completed a small animal general internship in medicine and surgery at Angell Animal Medical Center's Western New England location in 2007, followed by a surgical internship at Long Island Veterinary Specialists in 2008.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Dr. Piotrowsk enjoys knitting, playing video games, reading, and gardening. She also cherishes spending time with her pets: two Boston Terriers named Polly and Higgins, and a Golden Retriever named Zuzu.
