Dr. Kathryn Garner earned her undergraduate degree in Equine Science and Management with a focus in Animal Science before pursuing her veterinary education at the University of Edinburgh, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2016.

Since graduating, Dr. Garner has built nearly a decade of experience in clinical practice. She has practiced in Manchester, New Hampshire; Tolland, Connecticut; and most recently Middletown, Connecticut, where she spent the past four and a half years before joining the team at VESH West Springfield. Across these roles, she has developed a well-rounded approach to patient care and a strong commitment to supporting both pets and the people who love them.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Garner enjoys photography, hiking, camping, and yoga. A lifelong admirer of Scotland, it remains her favorite place to travel.

Dr. Garner lives with her husband, Ben, along with their three dogs- Finley, Fuego, and Freija—and two cats- Lucy Louise and Samantha Jane.
